The Children's Hospital at Sinai offers a full range of pediatric specialty services, for patients from birth to 18 years of age, supporting area pediatricians with the most comprehensive care of any community hospital in Maryland. The 20-bed pediatric unit provides a full range of medical and surgical care for infants, children and adolescents. Here, both the patient and family are the true focus of medical and nursing care. Consultants in a broad range of subspecialty services are available on site when they are needed. Play that is suitable for all age groups is coordinated by a full time child-life specialist who assists patients and their families with the psychological and emotional adjustment to hospitalization. 

Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology - cares for infants and children with hematological and malignant disease including anemias, white cell and platelet disorders, coagulation disorders, as well as leukemia and solid tumors. Blood counts, bone marrow aspirates, and spinal fluid examinations are performed in the pediatric laboratory located within the clinic. An outpatient infusion center is available for chemotherapy.

Division of Cardiology - offers consultation for evaluation and management of children with disorders of the cardiovascular system. This includes evaluation of infants and children with heart murmurs and evaluation of children with chest pain, syncope, cyanosis and cardiac dysrythmias. 

Division of Neonatology - admissions cover the full range of medical problems of premature and critically ill newborns. Pediatric anesthesia, general surgical and neurosurgical services are available when needed. Diagnostic capabilities include laboratory medicine, radiology (ultrasound, CT and MRI) and echocardiography. 

Division of Gastroenterology - is a consultative service assisting in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients with complaints such as unexplained abdominal pain, persistent vomiting or diarrhea, swallowing or feeding difficulties, difficulties with defecation, failure to thrive, unexplained intestinal bleeding and unexplained jaundice. 

Division of Endocrinology - offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic endocrinology services for infants, children and adolescents. The scope of the services includes evaluation of children with growth disorders, diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, calcium abnormalities, rickets, pubertal problems and gender identity. 

Division of Neurology - evaluates and provides care for children with seizure disorders and a variety of neurologic and neuromuscular disorders. Clinics are held five days per week and emergency consultation is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. 

Division of Infectious Diseases - offers consultation services for the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases such as fever of unknown origin, HIV, tuberculosis, ostemoyelitis and Lyme disease.
